When the 2009 Edinburgh reading campaign started, the Central Library was one of many locations where you could get your free books. The library (and staff) got a special make-over for the occasion, and the lure of books made for a busy day. Many parents brought their kids who were keen to get their hands on a Wallace & Gromit edition of The Lost World.
